Who We Are
The Lake Magdalene Elementary PTA, founded in 1963, is a local PTA unit organized under the authority of the Florida Congress of Parents and Teachers (the state PTA), a branch the National Congress of Parents and Teachers (the national PTA).
- To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, and community.
- To raise the standards of home life.
- To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.
- To build close relationships between home and school so that parents and teachers may cooperate in the education of children and youth.
To develop united efforts between educators and the general public to secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, and social education.
Here at Lake Magdalene Elementary School we are proud of our active PTA. Because of the support we receive, we continue to enhance the education and the lives of all children. Support of the PTA begins with membership and We Want You!!!

Where your PTA dollars go
The PTA is a non-profit, educational association. All money received by the PTA supports our annual budget and is used to fund educational programs, school-wide celebrations, fifth grade activities, as well as classroom enrichment, technological advancements, and campus improvements.
Ways you can help
Join PTA now! Every member increases the PTA’s ability to make a difference in the lives of our children. For just $7 for a Single membership and $12 for a Dual membership, you can help MANAfest change in this great organization.
Volunteering for the PTA is the greatest way that you can help our organization. Volunteers are the reason why our organization has been so successful. Not only is your time beneficial for the PTA, it gives you the chance to become more involved in your child’s education and life.
