KICS Club (Kids Into Community Service)
Kids Into Community Service (KICS) Club is recruiting 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. The Club aims at community improvement and supporting the Mission of Lake Magdalene Elementary School
“Our students will become productive members of society by developing mutual respect, self motivation, and positive self esteem while striving to achieve the optimal level of academic potential.”
This is an exciting opportunity to nurture the compassionate, self-giving character of our children! Our faculty will be involved by providing adult leadership and guiding this after-school club.
We meet once per month from 2:30 – 3:30 pm. The meetings are scheduled for Monday afternoons, on our school campus. As with all of our after-school clubs, parents are responsible for providing transportation home for their children at the close of each meeting.
If your child is interested in becoming a member of KICS and making a difference in our community, please have the form completed, signed and returned to your child’s teacher or the guidance office by Friday, September 11, 2009.
